In 2022, the Hyundai Heavy Industries Group acquired Doosan Infracore’s construction equipment business. The acquisition led to their esteemed status as one of the top 10 global Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Furthermore, DOOSAN brand name is replaced with HYUNDAI for the engine products, and HD Hyundai Infracore became (HDI) part of the Hyundai Group.
HDI is leaping ahead as a total solutions provider that offers customers
better value and greater convenience, as well as products of the highest quality, and as a global leader in the infrastructure solution industry, by expanding its lines of business continuously. One of the first steps towards new tech is the Hydrogen combustion engine. HDI debuted its hydrogen-powered ICE prototype at CONEXPO2023, with full-scale testing set for 2024. HYUNDAI plans to begin mass production of internal combustion engines (ICE) that use hydrogen as fuel in 2025. HDI is also introducing EV battery packs and plug-in full hybrid powertrains to give customers more power options.
Industrial Engines
MCI Propulsion&Energy provides HYUNDAI industrial engines between 16.4 kw upto 588 kw. for Non Cert, Tier4f and Stage V emission levels. There are hundreds of engine combinations between the engine models, emission levels and different options for each engines.

Generator Engines
MCI Propulsion&Energy provides HYUNDAI industrial engines between 12.5kva upto 100 kva. for Non Cert, Tier4f and Stage V emission levels. There are several engine combinations between the engine models, emission levels and different options for each engines.
